Ovenshine, Kurlak

Emily and John Kurlak

Emily Ovenshine of Seven Fields and John Kurlak of Cranberry Township were united in marriage Aug. 19 at North Street Christian Church in Butler. Pastor Bob Huber officiated.

A reception followed at the Succop Conservancy, Penn Township.

The bride is the daughter of Gordon and Kristianne Ovenshine of Seven Fields. Mother of the bridegroom is Mary Kurlak of Cranberry Township.

The honor attendant was Elizabeth Musser of Blacksburg, Va. Bridesmaids were Rebekah Kurlak of Austin, Texas, and Candice Foldenauer and Caroline Clark, both of Blacksburg. The flower girl was Rebekah Kalberer of Butler.

Performing the duties of best men were Paul Kurlak of Blacksburg and Peter Kurlak of Austin. Ushers were Samuel Ovenshine of Los Angeles and Logan Serman of Cranberry Township. Junior Groomsman was Benjamin Kalberer of Butler.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

The bridegroom graduated from Seneca Valley in 2008.

The couple will reside in Blacksburg, where they are attending school.
