Highmark gives $10,000 grant to Seneca Valley
JACKSON TWP — The Highmark Foundation has given a $10,000 grant to the Seneca Valley School District for its Olweus Bullying Prevention program.
School officials said the grant will allow them to collect feedback through the use of surveys for students in grades 3-12.
Olweus is a program that’s been in place for six years in the district.
Officials said reviewing the progress of the program and measuring results is an important part of Olweus, and the grant from the Highmark Foundation will help accomplish that.
Officials said they will conduct the review process and then implement any needed changes.
