Edes, Burke
Nikki Edes and Corey Burke, both of Fenelton, were united in marriage May 22 at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Fenelton. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiated. A reception followed at Highfield Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Nicholas Edes of Emlenton and Carol and Steve Meyer of Wildwood, Fla. Parents of the bridegroom are Norman and Tracy Burke of Fenelton.
The honor attendant was Rachel Wetick of Butler. Bridesmaids included Bobbi Sue Edes of Sharon, Ashley Burke of Fenelton, Amanda Wagner of Slippery Rock and Nikki Vavro of Butler. The flower girl was Celenia Edes of Sharon.
Performing the duties of best man was Josh Burke of Fenelton. Ushers included Matt Campbell of Renfrew, Travis Schuller of Butler, Ben Cranmer of Worthington and Tim Wissinger of Butler. The ring bearer was Zachary Saylor of Slippery Rock.
The bride attended Slippery Rock High School. She is employed by Ponderosa Steakhouse in Butler.
The bridegroom attended Butler High School. He is a full-time student at Triangle Tech.
Following a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple is making their home in Fenelton.
