Mildred Kay Boyer, 86, of Glenville, N.Y., died March 6 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, N.Y.

Born May 12, 1924, in Newton Falls, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Gladys (Schall) Artman.

Mildred graduated from Butler High School in 1942.

Mildred was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing and traveling.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard; her daughter, Rebecca; and her brothers, Arthur and Ken Artman.

Mildred is survived by her children, Deborah (Mark) Cieslak and Michael Boyer of Scotia, N.Y. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Karen (David) DeSorbo, Laurie (Anthony) Peconie and Brian Cieslak; and her great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Peconie and Ian DeSorbo of Scotia, N.Y.
