Joseph M. Wagner, 77, of Chicora, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 19, 1946, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late George Wagner and Thelma (Lewis) Wagner.

He was a heavy equipment operator for Sunbeam Coal, C & K Coal Co. and Concord Township.

Surviving are a sister, Thelma “Sue” Cancilla of Chicora; two brothers, August “Gus” Wagner of Alaska and Michael (Cecilia) Wagner of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

WAGNER — Services for Joseph M. Wagner, who died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, will be private. Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
