*UPDATE* Emergency crews reopened Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township at 10:50 a.m.

Police are responding to a vehicle accident Saturday morning at the intersection of Shannon and Evans City roads in Connoquenessing Township.

Emergency crews were dispatched just before 9:30 a.m. to the scene, where one male was reported to be injured.

Responders on the scene reported to county 911 dispatchers that Evans City Road would need to be closed temporarily to get a tow truck in.

Crews continued to work on the scene at 9:45 a.m.
