McDivitt

Robert C. McDivitt, 81, of Prospect passed away Wednesday at Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony.

He was born May 22, 1928, in Deanville, the son of the late Thomas Guy and Mary Stockdale McDivitt.

Mr. McDivitt was a member of Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church. He worked many years for the Barth Farm of Ohio, and also drove a school bus. He was a former member of the NRA, and he enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Betty M. Knepshield McDivitt of Prospect; a son, Edwin L. (Judith) Belles Jr. of Zelienople; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry Belles.

<B>MCDIVITT — </B>Friends of Robert C. McDivitt, who died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>WELCH FUNERAL HOME</B>, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev.
