John James Kaufman
John James Kaufman, 63, of Gibsonia, Adams Township, died Wednesday morning at Fosnight's Personal Care in Richland Township.
Born in Shaler Township, March 7, 1947, he was the son of the late George and Anna Marie Rehak Kaufman.
He was a transportation and logistics manager for ServiStar in East Butler, had worked for Eckard Drug in RIDC Park and most recently worked at Costco in Cranberry Township.
He was a member of the North Way Christian Community in Wexford.
He had served in the Air National Guard.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Laconi Kaufman, who he married May 23, 1981; a daughter, Kelly E. Kaufman Sjol and her husband, Isaac, of Pittsburgh; two sons, Jonathan S. Kaufman and his wife, Jill Reading, of State College and Jordan N. Kaufman of Gibsonia; a sister, Joanne Kaufman of Pittsburgh; and a brother, Donald Kaufman and his wife, Pat, of Oxford, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pati Doughman Kaufman, who he married Aug. 11, 1969, and who died in 1980.
