Diane E. Zierath
Diane E. Zierath, 59, of Butler died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 20, 1948, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Marie Laughran Ferrara of North Huntingdon and the late Attilio Ferrara.
She was a member of the Butler Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Mrs. Zierath was president of the Lafayette Apartments Resident Association.
She loved to cross-stitch and to play bingo, and she was interested in hearing court cases. She especially enjoyed dining with her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Zierath, whom she married Feb. 28, 1970; two daughters, Amy Zierath of San Francisco, Calif., and Andrea Gordon of Butler; a son, Cody Zierath of Butler; two grandchildren, Andrew Zierath and Aiden Gordon, both of Butler; a sister, Donna Bochneak of Crystal Lake, Ill.; three brothers, Paul Ferrara of Columbus, Ohio, Marc Ferrara of Washington, D.C., and Christopher Ferrara of Harrison City, Pa.; and an aunt, Helen Laughran of Homestead.
