Gery Prosser, 53, of Butler passed away Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Gery had lived in Saxonburg and was born Nov. 2, 1959, in Pittsburgh.

Gery worked for 34 years as a stationary engineer for Local 95. He would have been up for early retirement next year after 35 years of service.

Gery was a Methodist.

Surviving are his wife, Dawn (Osche) Prosser, and two daughters, Jenna and Katie Morrow.

His family will miss his encouraging and kind nature. The love they feel for him will live on forever.
