Wanda L. Sabich
Wanda L. Sabich of East China, Mich., formerly of Petrolia, passed away Sept. 19.
She was born May 20, 1954, to James H. and Betty Merchant Fair.
She married Dennis Sabich on Nov. 25, 1978. He preceded her in death May 1, 2002.
Wanda graduated from Karns City School in 1971. She earned her associates degree from Butler County Community College and her bachelor's degree from Baker College in Michigan.
She was employed by Detroit Edison for more than 20 years.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Her hobbies included quilting and scrapbooking. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Shaun (Melissa) Sabich, a daughter, Shannon (Christopher) Dargaj and grandchildren, Makayla and Savanna Sabich and Madelyn Dargaj, all of Michigan. She also is survived by her parents, James and Betty Fair of Chicora; a sister, Debra (Joseph) Bly of Chicora; and a number of nieces and nephews.
<B>SABICH </B>— A memorial service for Wanda L. Sabich, who died Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, will be Saturday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at the Harvest Community Church, Fairview, with Pastor Fred Neal officiating.
