Brian K. Benscoter, 26, of Hilliards died at 9:02 p.m. Friday of injuries in an automobile accident on Route 308 in Cherry Township.

Born Aug. 10, 1980, in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late James Benscoter and the late Debra Gold Benscoter Rottman.

He was a carpenter at MP Enterprises in Greenburg.

Mr. Benscoter attended the Hilliards Methodist Church. He also was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 243.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are his maternal grandmother, Marjory Hilliard Gold, with whom he made his home; a brother, Robert J. Benscoter of Boyers, who was injured in the accident; a niece; a nephew, and several aunts and uncles.

<B>BENSCOTER </B>— Friends of Brian K. Benscoter, who died Friday, April 27, 2007, will be received from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Hilliards Methodist Church, where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. James Lewis officiating. Private burial will be at the Rosewood Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, c/o Marjory Gold, 113 Railroad St., Hilliards, PA 16040.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, West Sunbury.
