Mark A. Kobert, 41, of Butler died Sunday morning at his home.

Born in Pittsburgh, June 24, 1969, he was the son of Ralph M. and Lynne Martin Kobert of Butler, with whom he made his home.

Mark had been an independent carrier for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

He was a member of the Wildwood Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Allison Park.

In addition to his parents, surviving are two sisters, Kendra Leonhard of Mars and Kimberly LaCaze (James) of Boyers; four brothers, George Kobert of Russellton, Eric Kobert (Julie) of Mars and Michael and Brian Kobert, both of Butler, and nieces and nephews.

<B>KOBERT</B> — Friends of Mark A. Kobert, who died Sunday, Feb., 20, 2011, will be received at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 250 Evans Road, Zelienople, PA 16063, Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the hall.Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and given to the family.Arrangements are under the direction of the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, Mars, and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
