Grove City College orchestra takes 3rd in national competition

The Grove City College Symphony Orchestra won third place in its division for 2023’s American Prize for Orchestral Performance. The results for the competition were announced this past November.
The American Prize is a series of competitions to honor the best in performing arts at all levels. Grove City’s honors encompass the orchestra’s performances over spring 2022.
“Competing against some standout orchestras from elite institutions like Cornell and Concordia University is a quite a feat for us,” said conductor Dr. Jeffrey Tedford.
