Donald Keith Bowser, 74, of 109 N. Orchard Drive, Center Township, died at 1:28 p.m. Thursday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 15, 1931, in Parker, he was the son of Jack C. and Elizabeth Arendt Bowser.

Mr. Bowser was a shipping supervisor for INDSPEC Chemical Corp., which was formerly owned by Beazer Corp., which was formerly owned by Koppers Co. He retired in 1991 after 42 years.

Years earlier, he owned and operated a bowling alley with two partners in Chicora.

He was a member of the Emlenton United Methodist Church.

Surviving him are his wife, Betty K. Bowser; a son, Andrew Keith Bowswer of Bedford, Texas; a granddaughter; a brother, Richard C. Bowser of Parker; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

<B>BOWSER</B> — Friends of Donald Keith Bowser, who died on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. The first viewing will be from 1 to 1:15 p.m. Sunday. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Campbell of the Faith United Presbyterian Church officiating.
