Beatrice Volk

Beatrice E. Volk, 81, of Mars passed away Tuesday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born on Jan. 15, 1934, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Anna Stewart.

A homemaker, Beatrice had been a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Mars and more recently attended the Mars Alliance Church.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, William N. Volk, who she married on Jan. 9, 1952, and her three grandsons, William S. Volk and Randy Volk, both in Arizona, and Sean Volk in North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William S. Volk; her three brothers; and her sister.

Volk, who passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
