Barbara Pfaff

Barbara Pfaff, 73, of Whitestown Village, Butler, died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 5, 1942, in East Brady, she was the daughter of Raymond E. and Mary E. (Haugh) Pfaff.

Barb was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Butler, where she was involved with clerical work.

A 1960 graduate of East Brady High School, Barb was a secretary at Butler Veterans Affairs for 26 years.

She enjoyed reading and driving for the Butler Blind Association.

Surviving are her brother-in-law, Wade Ion of Bradys Bend; one niece, Julann Cheesman and her husband, Ed, of Chicora; one nephew, Jody Ion and his wife, Jolene, of Knox; one great-niece, Shaney Cheesman; and three great-nephews, EJ Cheesman, Austin and Nathan Ion.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Melissa Ion.

PFAFF — Friends of Barbara Pfaff will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Leon Blaise, pastor of Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be private at Bradys Bend Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler Blind Association, 322 N.
