Man sentenced for facilitating drug deals in Butler

A former resident of Philadelphia convicted of facilitating drug transactions in Butler was sentenced Wednesday, Feb. 21, to 85 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

U.S. Chief District Judge Mark R. Hornak imposed the sentence on Khaleaf Lindsay, 27, in connection with his federal drug and firearm convictions, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

On Aug. 2, 2021, law enforcement executed a search warrant on a Butler apartment used by Lindsay in his drug operation. The search led to the seizure of a loaded handgun, cash and packaged controlled substances that included fluorofentanyl, fentanyl and crack cocaine.
