Kenneth Brenner Sr.

Kenneth M. Brenner Sr., 81, of Ellwood City, formerly of Portersville, died Thursday at Beaver Valley Nursing Center, Beaver Falls.

Born in Beaver Falls, Feb. 21, 1923, he was the son of Walter and Minerva Logeman Brenner.

He was a longtime member of Mountville Presbyterian Church in Portersville, where he served as an elder and trustee.

Mr. Brenner retired from Kerry Coal Co. and previously worked at Dale McClymonds Trucking. During World War II, he served with the Army in Europe.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Brenner Jr. of Ellwood City and Bruce Brenner of New Castle; two daughters, Sally Magill of Ellwood City and Debbie Lehman of Broken Arrow, Okla.; his companion, Mary Dolter of Ellwood City; and a sister, Mrs. Ross (Rita "Sis") Raines of Beaver Falls. He also is survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, M. Kathleen "Kass" Stanford Brenner; and four brothers.

BRENNER - Friends of Kenneth M. Brenner, who died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 500 Sixth St., Ellwood City. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with his pastor, the Rev. Donald Hurray, officiating. Burial will be at Mountville Cemetery.Full military rites will be conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to Mountville Presbyterian Church, Portersville, PA 16051.
