William H. Timblin

William H. Timblin, 71, of Foxburg died at 2:16 a.m. Thursday at the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo after a long illness.

Born in Fairview, Nov. 28, 1935, he was the son of Mark W. and Marie Ace Timblin.

He was a Protestant.

Mr. Timblin worked at the Witco Chemical Co. in Petrolia for years. He then was employed at various coal companies, the last being the former AHRS Coal Co. in Bruin.

He enjoyed yardwork and gardening and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife, Caroll Slack Timblin, whom he married Dec. 22, 1956; a daughter, Laura Lee Timblin of Franklin; five sisters, Mrs. Gary (Shirley May) Young of Hilliards, Mrs. William (Betty Jane) Page of Foxburg, Mrs. Donald (Barbara) King of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, Mrs. James (Edna) LeVier of Parker and Mrs. Thomas (Joanne) Eiler of Bruin; a brother, Richard "Dick" Timblin of the Chicora area; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother.

<B>TIMBLIN </B>— Friends of William H. Timblin, who died Thursday, June 14, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7-to 9 p.m. today at the <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Myers, pastor of the Foxburg United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Foxburg Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the Foxburg Free Library, P.O. Box 304, Foxburg, PA 16036.
