Norman G. Moore

Norman G. Moore, 76, of Evans City passed away Wednesday.

Born Jan. 3, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Peter and Cecilia (Imhoff) Moore.

Norman was a faithful member of the St. Matthias Catholic Church, where he volunteered as an altar server for 70 years.

He worked at Mine Safety for over 30 years.

Norman belonged to the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady's Blue Army, World Apostolate of Fatima U.S.A. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother, Ronald Moore of Lock Haven; his sisters, Marlene Measel of Evans City and Adella (Jim) Barr of Mars; 10 nieces; five nephews; and his close friend, Fred Soloman of Zelienople.

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Moore.

MOORE — The family of Norman G. Moore, who died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, will welcome friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City. At 5 p.m., final prayers will be performed by the Rev. Lawrence Smith.A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Matthias Catholic Church, 417 E. Main St., Evans City, with the Rev. Michael Roche officiating.Memorial contributions may be made in Norman's honor to the St. Matthias Catholic Church, 417 E.
