Roxie Maxine Rush Clark
Roxie Maxine Rush Clark, 87, of Lakeland, Fla., passed away May 21 in Sebring, Fla.
Roxie was born Sept. 29, 1929, to Clyde and Ressie Rush in Rimersburg, Pa.
She was a graduate of Union High School in Rimersburg.
On Feb. 24, 1950, she married David Randall “Ranny” Clark in Cherry Run at the home of her parents.
Ranny and Roxie lived in East Brady before moving to Butler. They resided in Butler until Ranny retired from I.B.E.W. Local Union 10 as an electrician, whereupon they moved to Lakeland, Fla., and became snowbirds. They would return summers to Pennsylvania to spend time in Cook Forest and Corsica.
Roxie was Presbyterian and enjoyed her church activities. She and her husband enjoyed traveling with various travel trailers throughout the U.S. They belonged to the Butler County Campers and, in later years, the Clarion County Campers. She loved shopping, antiques, bus trips and visiting friends in personal care centers.
Roxie was preceded in death by her husband, Ranny, who died in January 2002; her parents, Clyde and Ressie Rush; and her siblings, Arland Rush, Norma Stewart and Paul Rush.
She is survived by one daughter, Randa Clark (Salvador) DiMaria of Butler and Sebring, Fla.
