David G. Miles Jr.

David G. Miles Jr., 65, of Seybertown died Saturday at Chicora Medical Center.

Born Sept. 20, 1951, in Butler, he was the son of David “Gene” and Violet “Joan” Crawford Miles.

A 1969 graduate of East Brady High School, Dave worked as an auto mechanic at local car dealerships in his younger years.

While living in Texas, Dave owned and operated a lawn care business and after returning to East Brady, he was self-employed as a handyman.

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and being outdoors, especially sitting around a campfire with friends. He will be remembered as an excellent cook and decent golfer.

He is survived by two daughters, Danielle and her husband, Kyle Jordan, of Longview, Texas, and Lorie and her husband, Dominic Galassi, of Kittanning; two granddaughters, Faith and Addyson Jordan; and two grandsons, Lucas and Benjamin Galassi.

Dave also is survived by his father, Gene Miles, of East Brady; one sister, Amy and her husband, Rick Snyder, of Cumberland, Maine; and two brothers, Tim and his wife, Jeanne Miles, of East Brady, and Drew and his wife, Betty Miles, of Bullard, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
