Sherri Bowser
Sherri Lynn Bowser, 61, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Passavant Home for handicap in Shippenville.
She was born on April 23, 1962, in Frankfurt, Germany, and was the daughter of James T. Bowser Sr. and Rebecca E. Callis Bowser, who reside in East Brady. Sherri was a member of the Church of God in Karns City where she loved to go and sing. She also loved to color and work on crafts.
In addition to her parents, Sherri is survived by her sisters, Kimberly K. Burkett and her husband, Jeff, of Punxsutawney, and Rhonda R. Salizzoni and her husband, Jesse, of Huey; her brother, James T. Bowser Jr. of New Bethlehem; along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and two great-great nephews. She also is survived by her close friends, Sylvia Cherico and Debbie Salizzoni.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all Sherri’s caregivers for their excellent care and compassion they gave Sherri for many years.
BOWSER — Family and friends of Sherri Lynn Bowser, who died Saturday, March 23, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at BURNS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, Rimersburg where funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Kelley, pastor of the Church of God in Karns City, presiding.
Interment will take place in Sligo Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sherri’s honor to the Church of God, 105 Jay Lane, Karns City, PA 16041.
