Police reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
March 7 — John C. Hubbard, 71, of Wellsburg, W.Va., was charged with six counts of possession of a criminal instrument. Police said he was found with UPC bar codes to under ring gas obtained from gas stations.
March 7 — Jack R. Frain, 34, of Kittanning, was charged with misdemeanor accidents involving property damage. Police said he struck several vehicles and left the scene without leaving information.
March 7 — Travis D. Carpenter, 22, of Prospect, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him March 2 on Route 422, Butler Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.218%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 7 — Caleb A. Matus, 19, of Kittanning, was charged with four counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Feb. 10 on Route 422, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.03% with traces of THC. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 6 — Amanda N. Locke, 26, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said she was found with a glass smoking device and suspected crack cocaine.
March 6 — Charles L. Paris, 36, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Feb. 6 on West Brady Street, Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.
March 6 — Kevin C. Franklin, 66, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with suspected crack cocaine.
March 6 — Wayne A. Krauchak, 69, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a bundle of heroin and a straw.
