April M. Strader, 45, of Slippery Rock passed away suddenly on July 18.

Born April 13, 1974, in Pittsburgh, April was the daughter of Carole Faust of Harmony.

April spent most of her life in the loving care of those at Allegheny Valley School in the East Gait group home.

She enjoyed shopping and outings with her roommates and caregivers.

April had a mischievous smile that would melt anyone’s heart. She will be dearly remembered and missed by all.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Donald Faust; and her sisters, Kristina Strader of Strasburg, Va., and Amanda Strader of Meadville.

April was preceded in death by her father, David Strader; her paternal grandparents, Donald and Barbara Strader; and her maternal grandparents, James and Philomena Bucci.

STRADER — A private memorial service for April M. Strader, who died Thursday, July 18, 2019, will be held Friday at the AVS Program Center.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
