Water levels rise across Butler County Tuesday
Portions of Butler County are reporting flooding, as the county remains under a flood watch Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh.
Dispatch reported responding to a number of flooded basement calls, and a post by the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh indicated a portion of Cranberry Township’s Graham Park was affected by flooding.
In Penn Township, the Connoquenessing Creek was higher than usual.
Butler County and a number of other counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania are under a flood watch Tuesday, according to the weather service. Additionally, Butler County also is at a Level 2, or slight risk, for severe weather.
A portion of Southwestern Pennsylvania is under a Level 3, or enhanced risk, and portions of Southeastern Ohio are under a Level 4, or moderate risk.
