Slippery Rock University's Center for Cybersecurity and Advanced Computing will host a free cybersecurity event from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Thursday, April 11, at the Advanced Technology and Science Hall, Room 142.

The event will feature Roger Swanson, a cybersecurity specialist who has worked with law enforcement and federal agencies such as the Secret Service, CIA and FBI as guest speaker, as well as other experts and SRU students as they present live software demonstrations and applications in addressing cybersecurity threats and challenges.

The event, which is open to the public, also will be streamed on Zoom.
