Richard H. “Richie” Ritter Jr., 33, a resident of Liberty Street in Butler for the past six years, died at 12:36 p.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in San Diego, Calif., May 16, 1977, he was the son of Richard H. Ritter Sr. and Lucia S. (Gastelum) Ritter Mohney.

He graduated from high school in Memphis, Tenn.

Surviving are his mother, Lucia S. Mohney of Harrisville; his father, Richard H. Ritter Sr. and his stepmother, Sherry Ritter, of Millington, Tenn.; sisters, Lucy L. (Scott) Miller of Harrisville and Ana G. (Tim) Henderson of Sacramento, Calif.; five nieces and nephews; and his grandmother, Maria Gastelum of Grove City.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel Gastelum and Geegee and Pappa Ritter.
