Mrs. Gloria T. Miller, 91, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

She was born in Butler on Feb. 18, 1933, to the late R. Glenn Thompson and the late Wilhelmina S. Wachsmuth Thompson.

Mrs. Miller attended Allegheny College, earning a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She attended First United Methodist Church in Butler.

Mrs. Miller is survived by three children, Barbara “Barb” L. Miller of Erie, Glenn T. Miller and his wife, Leslie, of Butler, and Robin S. Miller of Butler; and her three dogs, Liesl, Willow and Blossom.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Miller, whom she married on June 25, 1955, and who passed away on July 29, 2017.

MILLER — Friends of Mrs. Gloria T. Miller, who died Wednesday, April 10, 2024, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service will be held with Pastor David Janz officiating.

A private burial will be at North Side Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001, or to Butler Dog Training Association, 1017 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
