Neel Jr.

Arthur G. Neel Jr., 65, of Cranberry Township died Monday in the VA Butler Healthcare.

Born Feb. 28, 1945, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Arthur G. and Leona (Dudzik) Neel Sr.

Arthur proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a member of the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Zelienople American Legion Post 474, Cranberry VFW Post 879 and the Teamsters Local 249.

In addition, he enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was the beloved husband for 38 years of Janet (Tolkacevic) Neel of Cranberry Township, who he married Sept. 1, 1972. In addition, he is survived by two sons, Jon Neel of Cranberry Township and Phil Neel and his wife, Vicki, of Austintown, Ohio; a brother, Mark E. Neel of Pittsburgh; a sister, Joyce Jones of Birmingham, Ala.; and his grandson, Keegan Neel.

<B>NEEL</B> — A memorial Mass for Arthur G. Neel Jr., who died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
