Robert M. Ludwick

Robert M. “Bob” Ludwick, 76, of Inman, S.C., passed away Wednesday at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, S.C.

Born May 11, 1939, in Kittanning, he was the son of the late Donald E. Ludwick and Doris Swartzlander Ludwick.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet Mawhinney Ludwick; his daughters, Kelly A. Ludwick at home and Karen Ludwick Hearn; and his granddaughter, Sarah Camille Hearn of Matthews, N.C.

He also is survived by his brother, Duane L. “Pete” Ludwick (Jean) of Valencia.

He was employed by the Carl Strutz & Co. of Mars for 14 years before moving to South Carolina. He retired from Cryovac after 22 years of service.

After retirement he returned to his first love, gardening. He was a master gardener with emphasis on the Plant-A-Row for the Hungry Program. He was a member of the Landrum Presbyterian Church.

LUDWICK — Visitation for Robert M. “Bob” Ludwick, who died Wednesday, July 8, 2015, will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eggers Funeral Homeof Boiling Springs, S.C.A memorial service will follow visitation at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eggers Funeral Chapel officiated by the Rev. Dr. Gene Lassiter and the Rev.
