Nettie Petitti Brunello

Nettie Petitti Brunello of Mars, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009.

She was born Feb. 16, 1913, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Leonard and Mary Menduni Petitti.

She was a great fan of country music and enjoyed her trips to Nashville. She loved music and dancing.

Nettie had lived in Pennsylvania for the past 10 years and spent the last nine years at Sunrise Assisted Living, where she enjoyed participating in all the activities and outings, including lunch out every Monday with the "girls."

Nettie was a floor supervisor at the Segal Schadel Paper Factory for 15 years, retiring in 1962.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Herbert Brunello; her first husband, Joseph Esposito; sisters, Eileen Grubb, Lucille Tomacelli; and a brother, Cecil Petitti.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and George Ory of Baden; grandsons, James Stacy and his wife, Krissana, of Palm Beach, Fla., and John Stacy and his wife, Pamela, of San Juan, Puerto Rico; a granddaughter, Lisa Mawhinney of Coraopolis; great-grandchildren, Zemi, Zoe and Isabella Stacy; and a sister, Peggy Titko of Marysville, Ohio.

A memorial service was held Friday in the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility, 10 Adams Ridge Blvd., Mars, with the Rev. Dennett Buettner officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Ambridge.
