Frank F. Harriger

Frank Frederick Harriger, 79, of East Brady died at 9 p.m. Sunday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born April 16, 1928, in Templeton, he was the son of William Wesley and Susie Katherine Bailey Harriger.

He worked 16 years at the Continental Can Co. in Towanda, N.Y., and retired from the former McDowell Plumbing and Heating in Sligo.

Mr. Harriger was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

He was a Protestant.

Surviving are two sons, Robert A. and Frank F. Harriger Jr., both of East Brady; one daughter, Teresa Sue Harriger Campbell of Chicora; one stepson, Harry E. Eisenhuth of Towanda, N.Y.; one sister, Minnie Parton of Slippery Rock; two grandchildren; four step- grandchildren; two great- grandchildren, seven step- great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Harriger was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Inez Eisenhuth, whom he married Dec. 20, 1953, and who died Nov. 16, 1983; one infant son; three brothers, David, Clair and Anthony Harriger; and one sister, Janet Thompson.

<B>HARRIGER</B> — Friends and family of Frank Frederick Harriger, who died Sunday, March 2, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>THOMAS M. STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME</B> in Chicora.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Peter Sears, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of East Brady, officiating.Burial will be in Bradys Bend Cemetery, East Brady.
