James C. Weber
James C. Weber, 82, of Butler passed away Wednesday at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born Oct. 8, 1930, in Etna, Pa., he was the son of Clark C. Weber and Sarah Cubbage Weber.
Jim served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He worked for Roessing Bronze as a furnace helper, retiring in 1982. After retirement, he enjoyed helping his son Ed in his scrap yard.
He was a member of the Jefferson Center United Presbyterian Church, the John E. Mair Lodge 729 F&AM, the Butler County Sheriff Mounted Posse and the Saxonburg American Legion Post 683. He enjoyed raising Clydesdale horses with his son Norman. His two favorite horses were Pinnacle's Carly (Charlie) and Westminster's Abigail of Pinnacle (Abby).
Surviving are his wife, Martha Bartley Weber, who he married May 17, 1954; four sons, James C. Weber Jr., Edward Weber, Larry R. Weber and Norman L. Weber, all of Butler; one brother, Arthur Weber of Sharpsburg, Pa.; four grandchildren, Ed Emerick, Shawn Emerick, Jason Weber and Jessica Weber Frantz; stepgrandson, Shane Stewart; and four great-grandsons, Connor Emerick, Logan Emerick, Matthew Frantz and Brandon Weber.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Edward Weber and Harry Weber; and one nephew.

Weber, who passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
