Bradley Vaughn Allison

Bradley Vaughn Allison

Bradley Vaughn Allison, 52, of Worth Township, Slippery Rock, passed away suddenly Saturday at the Grove City Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born in Ellwood City, Lawrence County, on April 21, 1962, to Vaughn Eugene and Nancy Belle Parson Allison.

Brad married Jane M. Mashuda on Oct. 2, 2004.

He drove truck, was a heavy equipment operator and had worked for various sand and gravel operations in the Butler County area.

He was a social member of the Harrisville American Legion Post 852 and member of the Slippery Rock Sportsmen's Club. An avid hunter, Brad in his younger years sought small game, like rabbits and squirrels. As he grew more accomplished, his quest was for the big buck that became his passion. He is one of the area's most accomplished buck hunters. The elusive gobbler became his spring time adventure in later years.

Brad took to heart mentoring nephews, nieces and younger cousins how to hunt. He was always as proud of their trophies as those obtained by his young students. Most recently he accomplished his lifetime dream of owning a Harley Davidson and experiencing the rush that only a Harley enthusiast would know.

Survivors include his wife, Jane M. Mashuda-Allison, at home; a stepson, Christopher J. Kirby and his wife, Vicki Holzer, of Cranberry Township; a step-granddaughter, Jaclyn M. Dyer and her husband, Nathaniel, of Beaver Falls; a sister, Apryl L. Klugh and her husband, Todd, of Pleasant, Gap, Pa.; and three brothers, R. Craig and his wife, Doris, Allison of Slippery Rock, Brian R. and his wife, Robin, Allison of Slippery Rock and Gary V. and his wife, Susan, Allison of Bellefonte, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Valerie J. Allison
