Earl A. Tindall

Earl A. Tindall, 76, of Perry Township, Ellwood City, died Tuesday in the emergency room at Jameson Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born March 12, 1939, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Walter E. and Cora M. LaBorde Tindall.

Earl retired from the Johns Mansville Co. in Zelienople.

A Protestant, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, active with Challenges Senior Center, a lifelong member of the Ellwood-Wampum Rod and Gun Club and was a member of the former Ground Observation Core. An avid outdoorsman, Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography and travel.

Survivors include two brothers, Robert (Sandra) Tindall of Mars and Thomas (Barbara) Tindall of Clearwater Beach, Fla., and his sister, Margaret (Edward) Carlin of New Castle.

He is also survived by one niece, four nephews, two great-nieces and four great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William and Walter Tindall.

TINDALL — Visiting hours for Earl A. Tindall, who died Tuesday, July 28, 2015, will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City. Military rites will be observed by the Veterans Honor Guard. Interment will follow at the Wurtemburg Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ellwood-Wampum Rod and Gun Club.Online condolences may be sent to marshallsfh.com.
