Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson reportedly had ‘huge fight’ on the set of ‘Red Notice’

An alleged confrontation between Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is being detailed in reports that surfaced Tuesday.

While filming the 2021 Netflix film “Red Notice,” the actors reportedly had a “huge fight” over Johnson’s repeated tardiness to set, according to sources who spoke with The Wrap.

With the chatter spreading on Tuesday, a representative for Amazon MGM Studios released a statement vouching for Johnson and his production company, Seven Bucks, which produced both “Red Notice” and the upcoming film “Red One.”

“Dwayne Johnson and Seven Bucks have been incredible partners on ‘Red One’ … and we couldn’t have made it without Dwayne’s constant work and support,” the rep said. “Any reporting that implies that we got to this point with him showing up 7-8 hours late to set is both ridiculous and false.”

The statement followed allegations from production sources close to the situation, who told The Wrap that Johnson arrived as much as eight hours late to set some days, and the crew was occasionally forced to shoot around him.

The filming occurred way back in 2020, during the pandemic, and the problem reportedly led to Reynolds having a serious talk with Johnson, who allegedly stormed off the set after the confrontation.

While the shoot reportedly continued without any further incidents, according to sources who spoke with TMZ, insiders told The Wrap that Johnson and Reynolds “didn’t speak for years,” aside from doing press, “until they recently patched things up.”

They have since found their way back to a positive working relationship, TMZ’s sources say. They claim the details of the incident were exaggerated, and would have made filming the upcoming sequel, “Red Notice 2,” impossible had they been true.

“Dwayne is the consummate professional and we’re thrilled to have worked with him on ‘Red Notice,’ our #1 film,” a Netflix spokesperson said.

While the studios have continued to sing Johnson’s praises, there have been additional rumblings of him being late to events as well as for production on “Red One.” Odd reports have also circulated of him peeing in water bottles and making assistants dispose of them instead of going to the restroom.

Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin, currently awaiting trial for involuntary manslaughter, is opening up about four decades of sobriety.

He told the a podcast about contending with substance abuse in the early 1980s, when asked if he still drinks.

“I don’t discuss this a lot. … I’m 39 years sober. I got sober Feb. 23, 1985,” said the actor. “I had a white-hot problem every day for two years. I think I snorted a line of cocaine from here to Saturn. … Then we came home. We took it back home. I mean, cocaine was like coffee back then. Everybody was doing it all day long.”

Baldwin noted his “drinking increased” when he gave up drugs, “which they tell you is going to happen.”

“And that did happen. I just started drinking,” he said, noting he later quit drinking cold turkey. “I don’t miss drugs at all, but I do miss drinking. I like to drink.”

Baldwin noted that he does “try to meditate,” but doing so with seven young children is difficult

Baldwin is also the father of 28-year-old Ireland Baldwin, from his first marriage to Kim Basinger.

His remarks come as Baldwin awaits his July trial for firing a live round that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of “Rust” in October 2021. The shooting also wounded director Joel Souza.

In responding to Baldwin’s lawyers’ motion to drop the charges against him, special prosecutors Kari T. Morrissey and Jason J. Lewis last month accused him of having displayed a“complete lack of concern for the safety of those around him” on set. Baldwin has denied wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty in January.

Those remarks were made just days before“Rust” armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was responsible for supervising weapons on the set, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. She received the maximum sentence of 18 months behind bars.

Britney Spears

Britney Spears called her sister, Jamie Lynn, a “little [expletive],” in a now-deleted Instagram video posted Tuesday.

The singer recorded the video while riding in a car on her way to “go horseback riding” with two others.

As the car takes them up winding hills in an undisclosed location, Spears can be heard making fun of her sister.

“I wanna be a little [expletive] and get a bath in the jungle like my sis,” she captions the video.

During the rambling recording, Spears also talks about Jamie Lynn going camping on a TV show and being “bathed” in the jungle.

She’s likely referring to her sister’s time on the reality series “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!,” which Jamie Lynn left last November for medical reasons. Britney also calls her other names during the short tirade.

The video comes at an uncertain time for the pop star, who is reportedly having serious financial issues.

Saturday Britney was ordered to pay more than $2 million to pay her father’s legal fees in their court battle over her conservatorship.
