SRU sweeps Clarion
At home on Friday, the Slippery Rock University baseball team swept a twin bill against Clarion, winning the first matchup, 7-4, and the latter, 3-1.
The Rock (28-17, 16-10 PSAC West) concluded its regular season and was paced at the dish by Michael Kitko, who went 4-for-6 over the two games with a run scored and a walk.
Slippery Rock will be its division’s fourth seed in the PSAC Tournament, held May 8-11 at Critchfield Park. SRU will square off against East Stroudsburg, the East Division’s top seed.
