Nancy Jo Gold

Nancy Jo Gold, 69, of Karns City died at 5 a.m. Thursday at her home following a short illness.

Born Sept. 2, 1936, in Butler, she was the daughter of Bruce and Freda Mae Wilson Garrison.

She retired from Witco.

She was a member of the Concord Presbyterian Church, where she was an elder and on counsel. She enjoyed quilting with the Home Extension Group that met at the West Sunbury Presbyterian Church, reading and gardening.

Mrs. Gold is survived by her husband, Arthur Lee Gold, whom she married April 24, 1987; a daughter, Terri Patterson of West Sunbury; three sons, Kent Morrow of Butler and Jeffrey and Douglas Morrow, both of Karns City; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one step-daughter, Shelby Young of Butler; one step-son, Greg Gold of West Sunbury, and two brothers, William Garrison of Butler and H. Edgar Garrison of York.

She was preceded in death by one step-son.

GOLD — Friends of Nancy Jo Gold, who died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Saturday, at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Visitation will also be at the Concord Presbyterian Church from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert V. Mathias officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.
