William White Jr., 74, passed away Feb. 13 in Ontario, Calif.

He was born in Butler on April 13, 1938, to the late William H. White Sr. and Ruth Robinson White.

In 1966, William began working at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, Calif. He retired in 2000 as a heavy equipment operator.

In 1970, he became a volunteer firefighter for Los Angeles County Fire Department. William had numerous hobbies but his most enjoyable past time was working on Model HO Scale trains. William was an active member of Loveland Church, Ontario, Calif.

William is survived by his son, Richard and his wife, Katrina, and their four children, Janae, Haley, Lauryn and Elijah; his daughter, Michelle and her six children, Brittany, Skye, Kyle, Kori, Joshua Grant and Marlon Barnett all of California; three sisters, Doris Henderson, Beverly White and Dorothy Smith. all of Butler; and a brother, Richard Norman White of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Maxine McCall and Shirley Johnson; and two brothers, Walter White and James White.
