Slippery Rock baseball scores comeback win
Sal Mineo hit a three-run homer to tie the game in the fifth inning and the Slippery Rock High School baseball team went on to defeat Hickory, 10-3, on the road Tuesday night.
The Rockets scored seven runs over the final two innings and five players had multi-hit games. Isaac McCandless struck out seven over the first four innings for the Rockets.
Austan Runtas got the win in relief, pitching a scoreless three innings to close it out. Slippery Rock ends the regular season at 13-5 and awaits the District 10 playoff seedings on Friday.
