Dolores Elizabeth “Betty” Fotta, 90, of Valencia, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 15, 2024, at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in Mars, on Aug. 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John and Mathilda Boyle.

Betty had been a secretary for Paul’s Chrome Plating in Mars.

She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church and belonged to the Mars VFW Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Doreen Powell (Wayne) of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Mark Fotta (Patty) and Stephen Fotta, both of Valencia; her daughter-in-law, LaRue Fotta of Valencia; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jim Fotta; and by four brothers and four sisters.

FOTTA — Friends of Dolores Elizabeth “Betty” Fotta, who died Wednesday, May 15, 2024, will be received from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A blessing service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
