Charlotte M. “Sis” Ross, 81, of Butler, died Thursday evening at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born Aug. 6, 1937, in Butler, a daughter of the late Joseph Weiland and Charlotte (Forcht) Weiland.

Sis was a homemaker and was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, where she taught CCD classes. She had volunteered at Gospa Missions and enjoyed painting.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Ross, whom she married Sept. 24, 1960, and who passed away April 11, 2015; and her siblings Babe Weiland, Rich Weiland and Frances McKissick.

ROSS — A Mass of Christian burial for Charlotte M. “Sis” Ross, who died Thursday, March 28, 2019, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, Carbon Center, with the Rev.
