Eric R. Lawton

Eric R. Lawton, 27, of Cranberry Township died Saturday at his home.

Born Feb. 5, 1977, in Farrell, he was a son of Rick M. Lawton and Susan E. Rakoci Rapp.

He was a 1995 graduate of Butler High School and was a salesman at McCrackin Ford in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Lawton enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his son.

Surviving are a son, Camron R. Lawton of Butler; his father and stepmother, Rick M. and Bethann T. Lawton of Cranberry Township; his mother and stepfather, Susan E. and Jeffrey A. Rapp of Butler; a half-sister, Taylor A. Lawton of Cranberry Township; and two stepsisters, Amysue L. Miller of Butler and Heather L. Rapp of Allison Park. He also is survived by his maternal grandmother, Edna Rakoci of West Middlesex; his paternal grandparents, Dick and Frances Lawton of Hermitage; numerous aunts and uncles; and three cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John T. Rakoci.

LAWTON - Friends of Eric R. Lawton, who died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. today atGEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3613 Sharon Road, West Middlesex. Everyone is to meet at the church. The Rev. Howard King will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Sharon.Memorial donations may be made to the Camron R. Lawton Fund, c/o Edward Jones Co. 338 S.
