Problems with USPS food drive
About the U.S. Postal Services’ Stamp Out Hunger food donations being down; there are probably many reasons for less donations, including those mentioned in the May 14 article.
But out here in my area, there could be other reasons. I am on an Evans City route. In the past, I always received a card reminding me of the upcoming program. No card this year and I don’t watch TV.
My son, who is on a Prospect route, hung his donations on his mailbox in what he thought would have been plenty of time. But when he came home later, his mail was in the box and the bag was still hanging there. He had heard about it on TV.
I just wanted to put in my thoughts on the subject.
