Beatrice Sarah Parker

Beatrice Sarah "Beachy" Parker, 82, of Butler passed away peacefully Saturday at home surrounded by her family.

Born Feb. 17, 1923, in Butler, she was the daughter of Charles and Hazel Wise Gamble.

Beachy lived in Butler her whole life with her husband of 65 years, John Thomas Parker, whom she wed June 5, 1940. Mr. Parker survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Judith A. Parker of Butler and Nancy J. Zellman and her husband, Steven "Bud" Zellman, of Indiana, Pa.; three sons, Thomas W. Parker and his wife, Melanie, of Condon, Mont., Laurence T. Parker and his wife, Dixie, of Port Angeles, Wash., and John T. Parker II of Butler; and her caregiver: Margaret Henricks of Butler.

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren including, Mark, Darren, Kyra, Lisa, Casey, Kellie, Justin, Jordan, Alex and Logan; 12 great-grandchildren including, Ryan, Matthew, Travis, Trevor, Levi, Taylor, Christopher, Jacob, and Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Perry and Leroy Gamble, and a sister, Joan Patterson.
