Stephen Brown

Stephen Brown, 56, of Slippery Rock passed away Sunday at his home.

He was born July 1, 1960, in Grove City, to the late Milo Miller and the late Esther Ritenour.

Stephen worked as a crusher operator for Bear Metallurgical in East Butler. He was a 1978 graduate of Moniteau High School.

Stephen was a member of the Boyers Sportsman Club. He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved his dogs. Stephen coached the sports that all of his children were involved with.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Terri Sue, who he married June 29, 1991; two sons, Nicholas A. (Kayla) Brown of Pittsburgh and Jessee Brown; one daughter, Abbie (Troy) Messerall of Meadville, Pa.; one grandchild, Kiara Messerall; and one brother, William (Jackie) Brown of Macclenny, Fla.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Greathouse.
