Ella A. Nable Crea

Ella A. Nable Crea of Wexford was lifted up to be with our Lord on Saturday after a short illness in Concordia of Franklin Park surrounded by her loving family.

Born Sept. 11, 1928, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Frederick H. and Agnes L. Schmidt Nable.

She was a member of the Dutilh United Methodist Church, Cranberry Township.

Ella retired as a registered nurse from the Suburban General Hospital, Bellevue, with over 30 years of service.

She graduated from Perry High School in 1945 and was a member of the Perry High School Woman's Alumni Association. She attended Allegheny Valley School of Nursing and graduated in 1949. She belonged to Suburban General Retiree Association.

Her family and friends were the heart of her life. Her caring and warmhearted nature poured out to her family and all her treasured friends. Her loving and generous spirit will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Robert Crea, who died June 12, 2003; one sister, Sarah Volz; and one brother, Paul Nable.

She is survived by two daughters, Jane (David) Ziemba of Abingdon, Md., and Lynn (Brian) Raithel of Harmony; two sons, Robert (Gabriela) Crea of Cypress, Texas, and Ted Crea of Wexford; 10 grandchildren, Robert (Shannon) Ziemba, Chris (Dee) Tolbert, Jamie (Heather) Raithel, Todd (Betsy) Raithel, Erik (Heather) Raithel, Jeremy Raithel, Natasha (Hector) Napier, Nathaniel, Julianne and Laurence Crea; eight precious great-grandchildren, Valerie, Jillian, Everett, Maguire, Hadley, Gavin, Harper and Jakob.

CREA — The family of Ella A. Nable Crea, who died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.The family has suggested memorial donations be made to Dutilh United Methodist Church Cemetery Association, 1270 Dutilh Road, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 or to Good Samaritan Hospice, 3500 Brooktree Rd., Wexford, PA 15090.
