Hobbs 90th birthday
Virginia Aggas Timblin Hobbs, of Butler, will celebrate her 90th birthday June 12 with a family dinner.
A card shower in her honor is planned. Cards can be sent in care of Donna Lawson, 134 Goldwood Ave., Butler, PA 16001.
Hobbs was born on June 12, 1934, in Butler.
She has three children, Donna Lawson, Phylis Spiece and Paul Timblin, all of Butler. A son, Jerry Timblin, is deceased.
She also has five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A granddaughter, Candice Lawson, is deceased.
Hobbs was employed at Aggas Service Station and Grocery, as a bookkeeper at Barron Radio, and as a waitress at Vin Mar’s.
She enjoys playing piano and accordion, lapidary, gardening, yard sales, watching Jeopardy, and visiting and lunching with family members.
Hobbs attends Springdale Lutheran Church in Concord Township.
